Join our esteemed client in the Public Sector in Dublin for an exciting opportunity as a Senior Test Manager. This role involves overseeing and managing outsourced Test Analyst teams while playing a key role in advising on and implementing testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Test Process: Lead and oversee the test process within the company, ensuring timely and effective execution. Manage and resolve defects identified during the testing phase.
• Quality Assurance Management: Maintain and enhance quality assurance processes to minimize development defects and uphold quality standards. Implement best practices to optimize quality outcomes.
• Consultation and Implementation: Act as a consultant on testing strategies and contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives throughout the contract duration.
• Application of Quality Management Techniques: Advise on the application of appropriate quality and environmental management techniques. Specify requirements for environment, data, resources, and tools to ensure effective testing processes.
• Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on the progress of testing efforts, highlighting anomalies, risks, and issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to address and mitigate any challenges encountered during testing.

Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in the QA space in a Managerial role
• Proven experience in managing test processes and teams within a public sector or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to advise on and implement effective testing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in generating comprehensive reports and presenting findings to senior management.
• Certification in relevant quality management or testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable.
• Knowledge of relevant tools and technologies used in testing processes is advantageous.
