Are you seasoned Performance Engineer with a strong interest in performance testing?

Harvey Nash is collaborating with a multinational Asset Management company specializing in providing a comprehensive range of cutting-edge financial products and services.

Our esteemed client is currently seeking a dedicated Performance Test Lead to assist in delivering performance testing services across a wide range of enterprise applications, technologies, and teams.

The Test Lead's responsibilities are split 50-50, in providing demonstrated performance testing tasks and providing technical leadership to a team of Senior Performance Test Engineers.

Here the successful candidate will facilitate with the integration and implementation of performance testing within a CI/CD environment, assume leadership of performance initiatives and will provide technical guidance to team members.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and deploy automated performance tests using Jenkins to facilitate continuous integration.
• Conduct performance testing for APIs, HTTP traffic, and UI-based tests by utilizing Selenium WebDriver and JMETER.
• Conduct performance testing within an Agile environment

What you’ll need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Extensive "hands-on" commercial performance testing experience
• Previous Technical Leadership experience
• In-depth experience working in an Agile environment
• Extensive practical experience with JMETER, Jenkins and Selenium WebDriver
• Experience working with a programming language, ideally Java or Groovy
• Previous AWS experience ( EC2 / RDS / S3 / IAM / Secrets Manager)
• Overall understanding of systems architecture, operating systems and web technologies
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
