Harvey Nash Ireland has been chosen by Fenergo to manage its Irish expansion plans.

The fintech company which makes Client Lifecycle Management software used by banks has previously announced that it will create 200 new jobs around the world.

A Harvey Nash Ireland spokesperson revealed to Newstalk that approximately 70% - or close to 140 - of these jobs will be located in Ireland. It currently has close to 60 Irish vacancies.

These roles will be predominantly in product management, software engineering, implementation, consulting and marketing.

The recruitment drive comes as a result of a $75m investment from Insight Venture Partners, a New York-based private equity and venture capital firm.

Suzann Baker, HR Director at Fenergo, commented, "With offices across Ireland, Europe, Asia and the USA, and a reputation for delivering skilled talent that is culturally aligned, Harvey Nash was the obvious choice to assist us with our global recruitment drive.

"Our business success has been built on three core differentiators: people, product and know how. Harvey Nash's dedication to the profiling, recruitment and selection of high calibre candidates was a key consideration, as well as the methodologies and efficiencies they can bring to the process."

Sonya Curley, Managing Director at Harvey Nash Ireland, added, "Recruiting is very challenging in the current environment but how you engage the market is key and Fenergo has engaged Harvey Nash to ensure this is being managed with demonstrable results. Harvey Nash is a global company with a strong reputation for adding real value to its customers throughout the recruitment process, and that will be the case with this project."
