Harvey Nash has partnered with a leading Financial Services client seeking passionate and experienced Enterprise Data Solutions Architects to play a key role in shaping and implementing its data architecture strategies.

As part of an Agile Design team, you will contribute and deliver solution designs to an enterprise data warehouse and data lake using innovative technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Identify and refine data needs, translating them into scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Take ownership of designing end-to-end data warehouse solutions
• Overall solution planning, providing input into the estimation process as well as highlighting technical risks, issues and assumptions

What you'll need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant experience working as a data architect or in a similar role, preferably in an enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong expertise in database technologies, data modeling, and data management concepts.
• Proficiency in data integration tools, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience on the Teradata EDW platform or similar technology.
• Strong expertise with SQL
• Experience with data governance frameworks, data security, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills

Desirable skills:

• Solid understanding of Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Impala and PySpark / Spark
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, TOGAF) are a plus.
