Role: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Galway, Ireland (hybrid)

Duration: Permanent

Our client is one of the world's most successful asset management companies. They offer a range of financial services and are experienced in a broad array of technology and operational functions. Their innovative projects have earned multiple patents in recent years.

As a part of their continuous growth in Ireland, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong coding and data skills to help them build a best-in-class platform for alternative data. You will work on event-driven processing and generating analytics from structured and unstructured datasets with the potential for parallel processing in the cloud.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong experience with object-orientated programming in Java
• Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
• Experience with taking software through its lifecycle
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Experience using CI/CD from concept to build to deployment
