Senior .NET Developer ( Life Science) D18

The suitable Senior Developer must have experience in high level solution design across platforms.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET and it's ecosystems

Good understanding of project development lifecycles and test lifecycle

The ability to work on his/her own initiative

Essential responsibilities:

  • Follow modern (e.g. SOLID) principles to design, develop, deliver and maintain high quality software components.
  • Refactor existing components.
  • Achieve high rates of code coverage using automated tests.
  • Write documentation where necessary
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with select Eurofins user groups.
  • Embrace Agile practices.
  • Embrace automation in test, build, and delivery pipelines
  • Be enthusiastic about creating quality code and following good engineering practices
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced experience in Software Development/Engineering (5 years or more).
  • Experience working with large, distributed, multi-tier enterprise application as a plus

Technical knowledge and Methodologies:

  • Very comfortable with source code control systems, ideally GIT.
  • Strong background in Software Development/Engineering.
  • Strong background in Object-Oriented design, programming, and frameworks (experience in the use of frameworks is required, frameworks development is a plus). WebIP main frame
  • Working knowledge of .NET 3.5 or later, and of at least ASP.NET and C#. Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, dotnet core 2.0 would be a plus. 4.0 NET 4.5. &4.7
  • Experience of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including AJAX. Knowledge of jQuery and JS frameworks (e.g. Angular) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience with design patterns (GoF)
  • Experience with SQL and related frameworks. Working knowledge of MS SQL Server is a plus
  • Working knowledge of JSON, XML, RESTful and SOAP-based web-services and message-oriented middleware is a plus.
  • Working knowledge and practice of test-driven development and clean code.
  • Experience with ATDD/BDD is a plus..
  • Working knowledge of UML is a plus. KNOWS BASICS he can read some them. Draw relationship and diagram.
  • Docker exposure is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline concepts is a plus. Working knowledge of TFS 2015 or later (work item tracking) or JIRA. TFS main project management tool used for GIT, PM and agile development
  • Working knowledge of Octopus Deploy and/or TFS Release Management or other deployment tools is a plus. PowerShell. MSBuild and batch file experience is a plus
  • Use of NuGet, npm and other package management tools is a plus.
  • Prior experience in industrial setting, and especially with Laboratory processes, is a plus.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of at least one Agile methodology (mainstream or organization specific) is a plus.
