Position: Scrum Master – Financial Services
Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: Negotiable D.O.E
Harvey Nash is seeking a Scrum Master for a client that we manage recruitment for in the Financial Services Sector in Dublin City Centre.
They are a privately-owned provider of investment management services including mutual funds, pension management and fund platforms to private and institutional investors. With locations around the globe, they have been operating in Ireland for over 20 years and the Dublin operation provides the location for their tech hub, delivering innovative solutions for their clients and driving a culture of collaboration and excellence.
The Scrum Master will play a key role in a brand-new global programme, working with senior leadership, product and technology teams to support the delivery of an end to end technology solution that will service a global workplace investments service.
You will have extensive experience working in an agile environment, working will full scale scrum or Kanban and an excellent understanding of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
The key components of the role will be: developing successful relationships with stakeholders, supporting the formation of a new team, Coach mentor and motivate team members, facilitate agile scrum ceremonies and begin delivery of a large greenfield solution.
You must be a self-starter with a passion for delivering high quality scalable solutions, focused on customer need, have a willingness to take on new challenges and have experience working on a global level.

Scrum Master Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience as a Technical Scrum Master
- Experience running multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent understanding of agile methodologies and practices
- Strong understanding of Software Development processes and procedures
- Experience identifying risks and acting to mitigate risks
- Proven track record in coaching, managing and mentoring team members
- Experience reporting to Senior Stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills
