Job Summary:

The Procurement Sourcing Lead will work with senior business leaders to align procurement strategies with business objectives. Key responsibilities include independently managing supplier competitive events, contract execution, and negotiating commercial terms. The role requires collaboration with large cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class execution of sourcing events and contracts, leveraging internal partnerships to execute efficiently. A continual focus on building the category strategy and ensuring deal and contract execution aligns with the strategy and the organization's risk profile is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recognize internal business requirements and their impact on the category needs.

- Leverage internal spend and supplier scale across businesses.

- Understand market positions of incumbent and emerging suppliers through experience, internal knowledge, and external research.

- Partner with Supplier Management and Third Party Risk Management to incorporate supplier performance and risk profiles into category strategies.

- Utilize a standard procurement-sourcing methodology (define requirements, develop sourcing strategies, develop RFPs, negotiate deals, implement, and manage engagements).

- Ensure competitive bidding where appropriate, helping clients select the best supply sources.

- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing RFPs for global initiatives, including drafting, managing deadlines, reviewing proposals, developing scoring matrices, preparing supplier selection recommendations, and negotiating pricing.

- Maintain effective contract and commercial terms with existing suppliers to reduce risk and achieve market-competitive terms, reducing total cost of ownership.

- Lead sourcing processes and supplier negotiations, utilizing support organizations such as Third Party Utility, Sourcing Utilities, Finance, and Legal.

- Structure and negotiate new master agreements and work orders/statements of work/schedules, and manage supplier contract disputes.

- Provide direction to Sourcing Utilities on executing low-complexity projects and contracts, maximizing their use for efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to all relevant standards, procedures, policies, ethical practices, and laws.


- Ability to work with large cross-functional groups across multiple regions, build strong legal partnerships, and navigate a fast-paced, agile environment. Excellent intercultural communication skills and a strong passion for delivering for internal businesses.

- Confident in working with technology and business leads, understanding business strategy, and providing procurement-sourcing strategy consultations.

- Skilled in structuring agreements, assembling support teams, and managing technology transitions.

- 10+ years in technology sourcing, with specific experience in professional services and business application software.

- Certified Purchase Professional (CPM or CIPS preferred).

- Contract and Supplier Management Experience:

- Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel.

- Proven success in achieving savings goals and other performance metrics.

- Strong relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

- Team-oriented mindset.

- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.


- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
