Harvey Nash has partnered with a rapidly-expanding, ultra-secure digital storage platform, utilized globally by major Fortune 500 companies.

Our client is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced C++ Software Engineer to join its agile team, responsible for building and delivering world-class solutions, leveraging the latest technologies and working directly with customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, develop and support applications, interfaces, and the integration of new functionalities.
  • Create and maintain high-performing, reusable, and dependable system code in C++.
  • Ensure new features and improvements meet customer needs and quality standards
  • Regularly contribute to code review sessions and the overall continuous improvement of software engineering processes
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and tools

What you’ll need:

  • BSc. in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years relevant commercial software development experience
  • C++ programming expertise
  • In-depth “low-level” programming experience
  • Previous experience developing complex, multi-threaded systems
  • Experience with Windows and Linux OS
  • Experience working with REST APIs, gRPC, and HTTP protocol
  • Good working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, Rust, or Swift
  • Proven multi-tasker with excellent prioritizing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
